Cleveland Browns quarterback Josh McCown is expected to miss Wednesday's practice, but is also expected to start on Sunday, according to ESPN's Adam Caplan.
Josh McCown expected to start Sunday, per report, has difficult fantasy matchup
The Browns will likely get their starting quarterback under center for Week 8 despite a shoulder injury. We break down the fantasy implications.

McCown was forced to exit Week 7's loss to the St. Louis Rams due to a shoulder injury, and hadn't offered any concrete evidence as to his status for Sunday. The veteran signal caller had been considered "day-to-day" during head coach Mike Pettine's Monday press conference, indicating an outside chance McCown would take the field. However, Caplan's report is the biggest piece of evidence supporting the face that the Browns won't have to be without their starting quarterback against a daunting Arizona Cardinals secondary on Sunday.
Fantasy impact: McCown has been a fantasy owner's dream, not in the sense that he has been the most productive of quarterbacks, but he has had predictable performances. Good defenses, such as the Jets, Broncos and Rams, have given him fits, but bad ones like the Ravens, Chargers and Raiders have gotten torched by the 36-year-old. Being able to predict those outings has at least given fantasy owners direction this season when it comes to setting their lineups.
If McCown starts Week 8, he faces a Cardinals defense that leads the NFL in interceptions, suggesting that fantasy owners ought to look elsewhere for another quarterback while he gets back to 100 percent.
