Miami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill is so hot right now. He's completed an NFL-record 25 consecutive passes to top Donovan McNabb's old record of 24. He had a perfect passer rating last week and his Dolphins have scored more than any team in the past two weeks since their bye.
Fantasy football start/sit, Week 8: Ryan Tannehill is coming in red hot
Ryan Tannehill is arguably the hottest quarterback in history with his consecutive completions record. Should fantasy owners start him?

Interestingly, Tannehill was a letdown before this recent outburst. He had a 7:6 TD:turnover ratio before his hot streak, but some of the credit does have to go to the coaching change of putting Dan Campbell in charge. The Dolphins are actually running the ball now, which has helped take some pressure off Tannehill.
This week, he gets a short week and a date with Tom Brady and the New England Patriots in Foxboro. The Patriots are actually the sixth-best matchup for fantasy quarterbacks, so this looks like a good chance for Tannehill on the surface.
Fantasy impact: He’s not a must-start player at all, but Tannehill is a top-12 option. The short week, road game and how he’s struggled against the Patriots are big factors.
