Washington receiver DeSean Jackson will not play against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday. He has yet to register any catches this season after suffering a hamstring injury in Week 1.
DeSean Jackson injury update: Washington WR inactive Week 4, fantasy owners continue without
D-Jax will not play in Week 4. We break down the fantasy implications.
Jackson was expected to miss 2-to-4 weeks with his injury, so it sounds like he'll be on the later side of that prognosis or even beyond. With Jackson out, it's been tight end Jordan Reed doing most of the damage. He is first on the team in receiving yards while he's one of three players to catch one touchdown. Receiver Pierre Garçon is first on the team in targets and second in yards with one TD.
Washington gets a nice matchup this week against the Philadelphia Eagles. Receivers have been gashing them all season, especially Atlanta Falcons receiver Julio Jones. The Eagles are currently the 27th-best matchup for PPR receivers this season.
Fantasy impact: Garçon is an intriguing low-end WR2 in a PPR while Reed is basically a must-start player. Jackson owners should continue stashing him.
