Tampa Bay Buccaneers receiver Mike Evans had a hefty price in early drafts. However, his owners still haven't seen the reward just yet with him missing his first game due to a hamstring injury. He also put up a goose egg in Week 2 with limited snaps.
Fantasy football start/sit: Mike Evans letting fantasy owners down so far
Mike Evans hasn’t lived up to the hype yet. Can his fantasy owners raise their expectation?
Evans finally got it going in Week 3 with seven catches and 101 yards on a whopping 17 targets. He's finally healthy now and he gets a decent matchup against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday. The Panthers have been the 10th-worst matchup for receivers, but keep in mind they have only gone against quarterbacks Blake Bortles of Jacksonville, Ryan Mallett of the Houston Texans and Luke McCown of the New Orleans Saints. The Panthers are still using a rotation in their secondary and really don't have a guy capable shutting down Evans.
Fantasy impact: If you drafted him, you have to start him. As long as quarterback James Winston can avoid the sacks, Evans should be a strong WR2.
