Hey, the Oakland Raiders can actually score. Quarterback Derek Carr is eighth in passer rating and he's shockingly turned the ball over just once with one sack, too.
Fantasy football start/sit: Amari Cooper could be reliable fantasy option
The Raiders are starting to cook on offense. Can fantasy owners expect more from Amari Cooper?
When the quarterback gets hot, that means there are some receivers benefiting. The main guy for the Raiders seems to be rookie receiver Amari Cooper. He's been terrific in his last two weeks, totaling 15 catches, 242 yards and one score. He's also up to 31 targets in his three games, so he is likely going to be among the league leaders.
This week, Cooper gets a wonderful matchup against the Chicago Bears, who have been the 27th-best matchup for fantasy receivers so far this season. Their secondary is noticeably weaker without cornerback Charles Tillman, so expect Cooper to go deep throughout the game.
Fantasy impact: Rookie receivers swept the nation last year and it looks like it’ll be Cooper keeping it going. He’s a must-start player this week.
