Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones (toe) is listed as probable for the team’s Week 4 matchup against the Houston Texans. Jones did not participate in practice on Wednesday, practiced on a limited basis on Thursday and was upgraded to a full participant on Friday. There was never any doubt as to his availability.
Julio Jones injury update: WR probable for Falcons, fantasy owners
The Atlanta Falcons wide receiver is listed as probable for Week 4. We break down the fantasy implications.
Fantasy impact: Jones will be active and look to continue his potentially record-setting pace. Through three games, Jones has been on an absolute tear, with 34 receptions for 440 yards and four touchdowns, going over 100 yards in each game. At his current pace, Jones would finish the year with 181 receptions for 2,347 yards and 16 touchdowns.
While those numbers aren’t sustainable even for an athletic freak like Jones, owners know that he’s capable and likely to go off in any given week due to the 15 targets a game he’s currently averaging. The Texans do present a tougher matchup, giving up the eighth-fewest fantasy points to opposing wide receivers. Owners should pay this no mind. Jones remains the No. 1 overall wide receiver play.
