Fantasy football advice, Week 4: Who to start/sit for Lions vs. Seahawks on Monday night

It's been a rough start for the Seattle Seahawks this season, whose only win came in a Week 3 game against the hapless Chicago Bears. At 1-2, their season so far can only be called disappointing. And yet, they are miles ahead of the Detroit Lions, who are 0-3, with each successive loss coming by more points than the one before. Both teams desperately need a Week 4 win to have some positive things coming in 2015.

The Lions will be without running back Joique Bell in Week 4 as he deals with an ankle injury. It's not so clear for the Seahawks, who likely won't know whether they'll have running back Marshawn Lynch (hamstring) until sometime Monday. Saturday's news wasn't positive, however.

Start 'em: Look, if you have Calvin Johnson, you're using him in fantasy, even if it's a scary matchup against Seattle. Three weeks into the season, Eric Ebron is averaging nine fantasy points a game. He's coming into his own.

Start 'em?: Without Joique Bell to worry about, maybe Ameer Abdullah can find his way into flex play, but he's not been great.

Sit 'em: It hasn't been a good start to the season for Matthew Stafford, who now goes on the road for a prime time game in Seattle. Ouch. Theo Riddick will get more looks this week without Bell on the field, but he isn't worth a fantasy play. Golden Tate just doesn't offer much for fantasy owners while Johnson is healthy. Matt Prater has eight fantasy points in three games. The Lions defense is a far cry from its heyday.

Start 'em: With a banged-up running game, you have to think Russell Wilson will have a big Week 4 game. Jimmy Graham silenced some of the concern that never really made sense to begin with by putting up 14 fantasy points in Week 3. With Rob Gronkowski on a bye, he's the top tight end. Steven Hauschka has been a monster kicker through three weeks. The Seahawks defense against a struggling Detroit offense? Yes please.

Start 'em?: This running back situation is a mess. If Marshawn Lynch goes, you probably have to use him, but with the game on Monday night, you can't afford to wait unless you also have Thomas Rawls as insurance, who looks like a reasonable starter if Lynch is scratched. And either way, Fred Jackson will be the pass-catching back and makes for a super-low-end flex play.

Sit 'em: The only receiver who really deserves fantasy consideration in Seattle is Doug Baldwin, who has three fantasy points in two of three games. Jermaine Kearse and Tyler Lockett have some potential, but their floors are both zero points.
