Jay Cutler is officially active for Sunday's game against the Oakland Raiders, as he was not listed on the team's inactives report. Cutler has been sidelined since Week 2 with a hamstring injury.
Jay Cutler injury update: Bears QB is active, still a desperation play for fantasy owners
Jay Cutler is returning to the field on Sunday. We take a look at the fantasy implications.

During his absence, Jimmy Clausen filled in at quarterback. Clausen was dreadful in Week 3, completing just nine passes for 63 yards and no scores against the Seattle Seahawks. The Chicago Bears are likely jumping on any opportunity to get Cutler on the field, even if he's less than 100 percent. The Bears have yet to win a regular season game, and Cutler simply gives them the best chance to turn things around.
Fantasy impact: Cutler may not be much of a fantasy option this week, but his presence will boost the players around him, particularly Matt Forte and Martellus Bennett. Alshon Jeffery is still sidelined with a hamstring injury. Despite the favorable matchup, Cutler simply doesn't have enough weapons around him to warrant a fantasy start outside of deeper, two-QB leagues.
