LeSean McCoy and Sammy Watkins won't be on the field when the Buffalo Bills face the New York Giants Sunday, according to Bills beat reporter Joe Buscaglia. Watkins is dealing with a calf injury. McCoy continues to nurse a hamstring injury. The status of each player for Week 5 is unclear at this time.
Bills injury update: LeSean McCoy, Sammy Watkins both inactive for fantasy owners
LeSean McCoy and Sammy Watkins are both officially ruled out for Week 4. We take a look at the fantasy implications.

McCoy has been open about his injury, stating that he'd rather rest his hamstring if he can't give 100 percent on the field. Rookie running back Karlos Williams has played well for the Bills. In Week 3, Williams rushed for 110 yards in a win over the Dolphins. With Watkins sidelined, Percy Harvin, Robert Woods and Chris Hogan will handle the workload in the receiving game.
Fantasy impact: At this point, McCoy's inactive status may be the best outcome of a bad situation. McCoy simply hasn't been much of a factor on the field, especially considering what the Bills gave up to acquire him. Provided McCoy's injury has been the main reason he's struggled in Buffalo's offense, getting him to 100 percent health should be the priority here. Meanwhile, Karlos Williams is in the RB2 conversation against a very manageable Giants run defense.
Watkins has largely been a disappointment for fantasy owners in 2015. His involvement in the offense seems to rise and fall each week. With quarterback Tyrod Taylor adjusting to a varying game plan each week, Harvin may be the only somewhat consistent option at wide receiver on the Bills' roster. Watkins' absence may have simply made fantasy owners' roster choices a bit easier for Week 4.
