Tavon Austin was the St. Louis Rams' leading receiver in Sunday's win over the Arizona Cardinals, catching six of his seven targets for 96 yards and two touchdowns while also rushing twice for 20 yards. Austin's performance was one that many expected to see from him after being drafted in the first round in 2013. While Austin has always excelled as a returner, he hasn't been able to put together many strong performances on offense.
Tavon Austin erupts with two scores, currently available on most fantasy waiver wires
Tavon Austin came up big in Week 4. We take a look at the fantasy implications.

Austin is one of the most talented players on the Rams' offense and he should be used more moving forward, but there's reason to be skeptical considering his lack of consistent production throughout his young career.
Fantasy impact: Austin is one of the more frustrating fantasy players out there. His speed and athleticism are often unmatched when he’s on the field, but coach Jeff Fisher hasn’t been able to figure out how to maximize his opportunities on offense. Because of Austin’s history, it’s more likely that Sunday’s performance won’t be repeated often.
Still, Austin's Week 4 output was enough to remind everyone that he should be taken more seriously, especially with Nick Foles settling into his new offense. Austin is currently owned in less than 20 percent of Yahoo! leagues. He should be owned in all leagues that give points for return yardage. Beyond that, Austin is still a WR4 at best with plenty of upside.
