If you’re in the daily fantasy sports (DFS) game, you need as many tools as possible to help set your lineup. Sure, there are some things you’ll disagree with, but not acknowledging stats or information is usually a mistake. FanDuel has acquired NumberFire to help on some projections for NFL players for each week to give you another tool to help.
FanDuel Daily Fantasy projections, Week 8: Running backs
Devonta Freeman is the top back in the fantasy projections. Who else could fantasy owners look to this week?

Here are the fantasy projections for Week 8:
Top tier
Another week, another time Atlanta Falcons running back Devonta Freeman is projected as an elite guy. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers struggle against running backs and the Falcons seem to be adapting to their new run-first offense. Adrian Peterson is also known for shredding the Chicago Bears, so this could be a nice bounce-back chance for him. His ownership may not be too high either. Baltimore Ravens running back Justin Forsett is also a great value at just $6,900.
Bargains
If you don't want to play Forsett or looking for another nice buy, Chris Johnson is still moderately priced at $7,300. The Cleveland Browns are the worst rushing defense in football and CJ?K has created some separation from his competition. Darren McFadden is also a decent buy at $6,400. He's got the starting role locked up and Joseph Randle is out of the picture. He'll be very highly owned after a big Week 7.
Elite players with sub-par matchups
Le'Veon Bell isn't a bad play, but he doesn't project to be quite as valuable as the other top-tier players. New Orleans Saints running back Mark Ingram has been hit, be he gets a bad matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals. Marshawn Lynch also doesn't project to be a reliable play this week.
