Fantasy football owners really demand that their guy has one big game here and there, preferably in their starting lineup. For the first five weeks of the season, Carolina Panthers running back Jonathan Stewart was not having any of those with his first four games resulting in eight points or less in standard fantasy leagues.
Fantasy football start/sit, Week 8: Jonathan Stewart gets a nice matchup
Jonathan Stewart has made some noise since his bye. Should fantasy owners expect it to keep going?
Well, the Week 5 bye came and Stewart has looked like a new player. In his last two, he's busted out for a combined 203 rushing yards and two scores in two wins against two tough defenses in the Seattle Seahawks and Philadelphia Eagles.
With Stewart coming in hot, he gets a fantastic matchup against the Indianapolis Colts at home. The Colts are the seventh-best matchup for fantasy running backs and they just gave up three TDs to the New Orleans running backs last week.
Fantasy impact: His slow start is behind him, he has no competition for carries and he should be starting in all leagues this week.
