Davante Adams injury update: WR probable for Packers, fantasy owners
The Green Bay Packers wide receiver is listed as probable for Week 8. We break down the fantasy implications.
Fantasy impact: Adams is set to make his return after he initially suffered the ankle injury back in Week 3. Commonly perceived as a fantasy breakout candidate at the beginning of the season, its fair to say that the season has gotten off to an unideal start for the second year man. Prior to his injury, Adams was unable to top 60 yards receiver in the first two weeks and also failed to find the end zone. He'll have to battle his way back into the mix for significant targets as Randall Cobb and James Jones are well ahead of him on the totem pole at the moment. A second round pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, Adams has gobs of talent but owners will need to continue to be patient with him. In a rough matchup against Denvers secondary that gives up the fewest fantasy points to opposing receivers, Adams is a low-ceiling WR4.
