Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch (hamstring) is listed as probable for the team's Week 8 matchup against the Dallas Cowboys. Lynch did not participate in practice on Wednesday before being upgraded to a full participant in practice on Thursday and Friday.
Marshawn Lynch injury update: RB probable for Seahawks, fantasy owners
The Seattle Seahawks running back is listed as probable for Week 8. We break down the fantasy implications.
Fantasy impact: Lynch missed out on Week 5 but its been business as usual since he returned to the lineup. He’s averaged 22 carries for 88 yards and one touchdown for the last two weeks, standard production from “Beast Mode.” While Lynch hasn’t found the end zone quite as often this season (two total touchdowns), he has an excellent chance to buck the trend against the Cowboys. Their defense gives up the third-most fantasy points to opposing running backs. Rookie Thomas Rawls filled in admirably in Lynch’s absence and earned himself a small role in the game plan, but it’s nothing for owners to be concerned about. Lynch remains an elite RB1.
