It can be a fool's errand to try and figure out who gets the carries on the New England Patriots. Well, it became a little bit easier because running back Dion Lewis is out for the season with a torn ACL.
Fantasy football start/sit, Week 10: LeGarrette Blount has less competition
There is one less running back in the Patriots’ cupboard. We break down the fantasy implications.
For all we know, the Patriots could totally shake up their running back rotation, but one would think that LeGarrette Blount has the job locked down. His main competition now will be James White and Brandon Bolden. Unlike Lewis, both backs have been in the system for years, so we've kind of seen the ceilings out of both.
Blount is coming off a whopping 29-carry game last week, rushing for 129 yards and one score against Washington. He probably won’t get that many carries, but we can likely rule out the days of a a three-carry outing like back in Week 7.
Fantasy impact: He gets a good matchup against the New York Giants, so you're obviously going to want to start him in all formats.
