Kansas City Chiefs running back Charcandrick West was coming in hot last week, but he had a bye in Week 9. Simply put, fantasy owners shouldn't worry.
Fantasy football start/sit, Week 10: Charcandrick West becoming strong play
The Chiefs are coming off a bye and it should help Charcandrick West. We break down the fantasy implications.
In his previous two games combined, he had 48 touches, 251 yards and two scores. The Chiefs also won both games thanks to West averaging five yards per carry.
He's clearly the top back and now the Chiefs had two weeks to plan on how they can integrate West into the full-blown Jamaal Charles of the offense.
This week, he gets a slightly tough matchup against the Denver Broncos. Although, they have started to trend down in stopping running backs, allowing a rushing score in each of their last two games.
Fantasy impact: West is on the road and it’s a great matchup, but he’s really emerged as an RB1 going forward. He’s more of an RB2 this week and is close to a must-play guy.
