Philadelphia Eagles receiver Jordan Matthews was probably one of the fastest risers in the preseason. Fantasy owners took him as a top-15 receiver in most cases, but it took a while for him to finally come around.
Fantasy football start/sit, Week 10: Jordan Matthews still a bust so far
Jordan Matthews hasn’t even been a WR2 this season. We break down the fantasy implications.
Well, last week he finally got it going. Against the Dallas Cowboys, Matthews caught nine passes for 133 yards and one score. It was by far his best game, setting a season high in yards and just one shy of his best for catches.
This week, he gets a favorable matchup against the Miami Dolphins. In the last four games, they've allowed five touchdowns to wide receivers and they've allowed at least one in every game since Week 2. Matthews should be busy in the slot and can probably build off his big Week 9.
Fantasy impact: There’s a lot of risk for a guy who didn’t really show up from Week 2 to Week 8, but he’s a decent WR2 this week.
