Josh McCown injury update: QB questionable for Browns, fantasy owners
The Cleveland Browns quarterback is listed as questionable for Week 10. We break down the fantasy implications.
Cleveland Browns quarterback Josh McCown (ribs) is listed as questionable for the team's Week 10 matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers. McCown was a limited participant in practice Wednesday through Friday. Despite the questionable tag, McCown is unlikely to suit up on Sunday.
Fantasy impact: With McCown likely to sit, Johnny Manziel is in line to make another start. Johnny Football predictably had mixed results in his start last week against the undefeated Cincinnati Bengals. He finished the game completing 15 of 33 passes (45.5 percent) for 168 yards passing, one touchdown and no interceptions. He also chipped in 31 yards rushing on four attempts. Manziel will draw a much more favorable matchup this week in the Steelers. Their defense allows the 16th-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks and consistently gets shredded, allowing an average of 273 yards per game through the air. Manziel isn't a recommended bye week starter in one-quarterbacks leagues but is worth keeping an eye on.
