Tennessee Titans wide receiver Kendall Wright (knee) has been ruled out for the team's Week 10 matchup against the Carolina Panthers. Wright did not participate in practice any day this week and never head a realistic shot at suiting up this week.
Kendall Wright injury update: WR ruled out for Titans, fantasy owners
The Tennessee Titans wide receiver has been ruled out for Week 10. We break down the fantasy implications.
Fantasy impact: Fantasy owners shouldn't have too hard of a time replace Wright's production which considerable cooled off after Week 4. Wright has been averaging 3.75 receptions for 32.5 yards and 0.25 touchdowns since Week 5. Second round pick Dorial Green-Beckham projects as the main beneficiary of Wright's absence. DGB was used sporadically while coach Ken Whisenhunt was running the show. Since the Titans canned Whisenhunt less than two weeks ago and promoted Mike Mularkey as the interim head coach, there was talk of getting the ball into DGB's hands more often. Last week we them follow through as he finished with five receptions for 77 yards on ten targets. If the Titans continue to feed him the ball that often, it's only a matter of time before he starts coming up big for fantasy owners. He's a borderline WR3/4 with plenty of upside and should be owned in all formats.
