Austin Seferian-Jenkins injury update: TE questionable for Buccaneers, fantasy owners
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end is listed as questionable for Week 10. We break down the fantasy implications.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins (shoulder) is listed as questionable for the team's Week 10 matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. ASJ was limited participant in practice throughout the week. Despite the questionable tag, he's unlikely to suit up on Sunday.
Fantasy impact: While Seferian-Jenkins has been practicing for three weeks now, the Buccaneers have been playing it extremely safe with their sophomore tight end. ASJ sustained the injury back in Week 2 but it appears that he still may need another week or two before he makes his return to the field. Owners should continue to hold onto him as he offers rare upside once he gets healthy. We saw a glimpse of that potential in Week 1 where he finished the game with 5/110/2 line. With receiver Vincent Jackson already ruled out and ASJ looking iffy at best, sophomore receiver Mike Evans is in line to see a monster workload. He torched the New York Giants with eight receptions on 150 yards on a whopping 19 targets in the same situation last week.
