Denver Broncos running back Ronnie Hillman (quadriceps) is listed as probable for the team's Week 10 matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs. Hillman was a full participant in practice every day this week and was never in danger of missing time this week.
Ronnie Hillman injury update: RB probable for Broncos, fantasy owners
The Denver Broncos running back is listed as probable for Week 10. We break down the fantasy implications.
Fantasy impact: The bigger issue for Hillman and fantasy owners is the reemergence of running back C.J. Anderson. The Broncos steamrolled the Green Bay Packers in week 8, where both backs came up big. Hillman finished with 19 carries for 60 yards and two touchdowns. While he came up big for fantasy owners, it was Anderson who played better. He ran for 101 yards on 14 carries and one touchdown and resembled his 2014 self. Hillman was outplayed by Anderson again last week against the Indianapolis Colts. Both backs carried the ball seven times but Anderson produced 34 yards from the carries while Hillman converted them into one total yard rushing. With an uncertain workload and a tough matchup in the Chiefs (ninth-fewest fantasy points allowed to running backs), neither back can be trusted as more than a low-end RB2/flex option.
