Green Bay Packers running back Eddie Lacy appeared on the team's inactives list for Week 10. It was a surprising development that leaves running back James Starks as the team's workhorse back as they take on the Detroit Lion Sunday afternoon. Starks was already announced as the team's RB1 heading into Sunday's contest, but Lacy was still expected to contribute as the more physical between-the-tackles runner. Lacy was putting in limited practice all week, so his status comes as a bit of a surprise. Running back Alonzo Harris is expected to back up Starks for the day.
Eddie Lacy ruled inactive Week 10, James Starks to carry the workload for fantasy owners
Eddie Lacy appeared on the team’s inactives list on Sunday. We take a look at the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: At this point, Lacy owners have been coming to terms with the fact that he cannot be trusted. He hasn’t been able to deliver as the team’s starting running back. Starks now has a great opportunity against a Lions defense that is one of the worst in stopping the run. He has added appeal in PPR formats. In Week 9, Starks caught six passes for 83 yards and a touchdown. Starks is a surefire RB2 with plenty of upside without Lacy seeing work.
