The Tennessee Titans can somehow climb back into the AFC South race on Thursday night, even with just two wins through nine games. And the pressure to do so will rest on the shoulders of rookie quarterback Marcus Mariota.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 11: Marcus Mariota
Week 11’s matchup with the Jacksonville Jaguars will be the most important game of Marcus Mariota’s young career so far. We break down the fantasy implications.

Mariota is coming off a rough Week 10 outing, but that's to be expected against an elite Carolina Panthers defense. Making matters worse, is that Mariota will likely not have his top two receivers on the field, with Kendall Wright nursing a knee injury and Justin Hunter out for the season with a fractured ankle. It leaves Delanie Walker and Harry Douglas as his main pass catchers, and Mariota may have to be asked to do more than usual if his team is to eke out a win.
Fantasy impact: The good news for fantasy owners is that Mariota is starting to utilize his speed more, which would boost his upside in leagues of any format if it continues. Mariota carried the ball five times in Week 10, including a handful of designed run plays that totaled a modest 24 yards.
If Mariota continues to use his legs to make plays as the Titans reportedly want him to do, QB1 upside remains amid a favorable matchup with the Jacksonville Jaguars. But fantasy owners need to prepare themselves for a downside as well, despite that.
