Jacksonville Jaguars running back T.J. Yeldon (foot) will not be 100 percent against the Tennessee Titans on Thursday Night Football. He was in a walking boot earlier this week, but he's said he'll be healthy enough to play on the short week.
Fantasy football start/sit, Week 11: T.J. Yeldon’s foot injury could limit him
T.J. Yeldon has been hurting all week. Should his fantasy owners start him this week?
Yeldon is coming off one of his worst games in over a month, rushing for 61 yards on his 18 carries against a sub-par Baltimore Ravens defense. Even though he’s sort of struggling, Yeldon should see the vast majority of the carries.
On the downside, he gets a bad matchup this week. The Titans have vastly improved in stopping the run this year and rank as the eighth-toughest matchup for fantasy running backs.
Fantasy impact: Yeldon hasn’t put up good numbers in three of his last four games, so he’s not really a usable RB2. If you’re in a pinch and need a flex, feel free to give Yeldon a look as a lower-upside option this week.
