Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Kamar Aiken has a big role to fill with Steve Smith Sr. out for the season with a ruptured Achilles tendon. Aiken will likely be taking over as the team's No. 1 wideout in Smith's absence. In 2015, Aiken played just one game (Week 5) without Smith on the field. During that game, he caught four passes for 78 yards. Wide receiver Chris Givens, who was acquired from the St. Louis Rams in October, could start opposite Aiken as rookie receiver Breshad Perriman continues to recover from PCL surgery.
Kamar Aiken becomes hot fantasy waiver wire grab with Steve Smith Sr. out for season
Kamar Aiken is looking at No. 1 wideout duties with Steve Smith done for the season. We take a look at the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: It's unlikely that Aiken will ever be the fantasy contributor Smith was in 2015, but the opportunity is there for more targets moving forward. Aiken will return from the team's Week 9 bye as a WR3 with tremendous upside. He's owned in just 18 percent of Yahoo! leagues as of Monday morning. Givens is worth stashing in deeper leagues as quarterback Joe Flacco tries to establish some chemistry with both receivers moving forward. Tight end Crockett Gillmore figures to see more targets as well, but is still a TE2 until we see Flacco's pass distribution without Smith on the field.
