Houston Texans wide receiver Nate Washington was a big contributor toward his team's 20-6 win over the Tennessee Titans in Week 8. Washington managed four receptions for 74 yards and a touchdown against his former team, and his six targets were second on the club behind receiver DeAndre Hopkins. Through two games, Washington has a total of 13 receptions for 201 yards and three touchdowns. Fellow wide receiver Cecil Shorts has been sidelined with a hamstring injury during the team's last two games, and Washington has responded with impressive numbers in the meantime.
Nate Washington scores third touchdown in two weeks, becomes hot waiver topic
Nate Washington factored into a win against his former team. We take a look at the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: As great as Washington has been, his fantasy success may come back down to Earth when Shorts returns. His floor is dangerously low. For instance, in Week 4, Washington went the entire game without a single target. He’s understandably gotten attention lately on fantasy waiver wires, but Washington is best left on waivers once Shorts returns from his injury. He can be considered a low-end WR3 until then.
