Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo will play against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday. He broke his collarbone in Week 1 and will make his return to the lineup.
Tony Romo fantasy football injury update: Set for return
Tony Romo will make his return on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.
The Cowboys' offense was a disaster since Romo went down. Romo has healed and should have a green light to throw the ball a ton. In Week 1, he threw the ball 45 times for 356 yards and three scores against the New York Giants. With the exception of running back Joseph Randle, Romo has all his key weapons.
Romo gets a good matchup against the Dolphins, who are the 10th-best matchup for fantasy quarterbacks. Romo is on the road, but his home-road splits are not too bad in his career.
Fantasy impact: He’s not a must-start player, but most fantasy owners should be plugging Romo in as a low-end QB1. The Cowboys don’t run the ball well and Romo should have close to 40 attempts again.
