Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Sam Bradford has a shoulder injury and suffered a concussion in Week 10. He does have a chance to play on Thanksgiving, but it'll be Mark Sanchez under center against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Sam Bradford fantasy football injury update: Mark Sanchez will start
The Eagles won’t have Sam Bradford on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.
Fantasy owners of Bradford are probably not going to want to stash him considering he was QB25 in fantasy formats on the season. The Eagles couldn’t really get anything going in the regular season after a very promising preseason, so maybe Sanchez can get it going right away.
He gets a good matchup against the Bucs, who are the No. 21 defense against fantasy QBs. While they are playing better, they’ve had some easy matchups with weak QBs. The Eagles are also at home and the Bucs’ D has been worse on the road, too.
Fantasy impact: If you’re considering Sanchez, you have to be in a two-QB league or somewhat desperate. He does have some upside and is worth owning in 12-team leagues, though.
