Darren McFadden injury update: RB questionable for Cowboys, fantasy owners
The Dallas Cowboys running back is listed as questionable for Week 11. We break down the fantasy implications.
Dallas Cowboys running back Darren McFadden (groin) is listed as questionable for the team's Week 11 matchup against the Miami Dolphins.
McFadden was limited in practice throughout the week. Despite being limited in practice, McFadden is fully expected to suit up on Sunday.
Fantasy impact: McFadden has filled in admirably as the team’s top back. Most importantly, he’s been able to stay healthy, an issues he’s struggled with his entire career.
Last week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers marked the first time in three consecutive weeks that "Run DMC" couldn't provide owners with at least 10 standard fantasy points.
While the eight-year veteran has only found the end zone twice this season, his versatility in the passing game has allowed him to stay on the field and contribute.
He shouldn't have much trouble finding room to operate against the Dolphins, especially with quarterback Tony Romo set to return. Their defense gives up the second-most fantasy points to opposing running backs.
Owners shouldn’t hesitate to fire McFadden up as a high-end RB2.
