Marshawn Lynch injury update: Seahawks RB questionable for fantasy owners in Week 11
Beast Mode’s status is likely going to come down to a game-time call today. We break down the fantasy implications.
Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch is officially listed as questionable for Week 11’s matchup with the San Francisco 49ers. Head coach Pete Carroll said Lynch is on the “positive side of questionable,” which means he could be looking at the same situation as last week.
Lynch did not practice leading up to Week 10’s game with the Arizona Cardinals, but he was active and played 79 percent of the offensive snaps. He didn’t practice this week, either.
Fantasy impact: On one hand it’s easy to look at last week and expect the same outcome for Lynch. However, the Seahawks are playing a 49ers team that has scored 25 points over their last three games. It would be understandable if Carroll wanted to rest Lynch for this matchup.
Fantasy owners should keep a backup plan in mind. The Seahawks don’t kick off until 4:25 p.m. ET. Thomas Rawls would be the ideal replacement for your lineup if Lynch is inactive.
