Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning is seeing a specialist in Charlotte to determine the course of action for his torn plantar fascia, according to Mike Klis of 9News.
Peyton Manning to see a foot specialist Monday, per report, fantasy future in doubt
The Broncos remain at a crossroads, regarding their quarterback situation. We break down the fantasy implications.

Manning had been dealing with a foot injury for weeks, but the announcement of a torn plantar fascia had not been made until after he had been benched during Week 10's blowout loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. Brock Osweiler started in Manning's place during Week 11's contest with the Chicago Bears and led the Broncos to a 17-15 victory. It is not yet known how long Manning will be out of action or if he is guaranteed a starting spot upon a healthful return.
Fantasy impact: As long as Osweiler continues to produce, the likelihood that Manning has played his last NFL snap continues to grow. Additionally, Gary Kubiak amended his previous declaration that Manning would return under center upon a clean bill of health by saying he will approach the quarterback situation on a week by week basis, according to NFL Network's James Palmer.
Osweiler and Manning both have decent ceilings with several weapons amid the Broncos offense, but neither are worth trusting as more than a QB2 in leagues of any format.
