If you’re in the daily fantasy sports (DFS) game, you need as many tools as possible to help set your lineup. Sure, there are some things you’ll disagree with, but not acknowledging stats or information is usually a mistake. FanDuel has acquired numberFire to help on some projections for NFL players for each week to give you another tool to help.
FanDuel daily fantasy projections, Week 12: Running backs
The two top dogs have subpar matchups, so Doug Martin has a chance for the top spot in FanDuel fantasy football.

Here are the fantasy projections for Week 12:
Top tier
Adrian Peterson and Todd Gurley are the top two players for price and projected scoring. They aren't terrific values with such hefty price tags, but Gurley may be the better play of the two. Doug Martin has caught fire recently, thanks to exploding on the Philadelphia Eagles for 235 yards. He should put in some work against the Indianapolis Colts, who are just the 20th-toughest matchup for fantasy backs.
Bargains
Everyone loves Thomas Rawls. Marshawn Lynch won't play on Sunday, so Rawls will be one of the highest-owned players in a given week all season. You still kind of have to use him against the Pittsburgh Steelers in a cash game, but going against him in a GPP isn't a bad idea just because his ownership is going to be very high. Tevin Coleman is going to get a start with Devonta Freeman expected to miss Sunday, so he's an option at just $6,200. T.J. Yeldon should have a nice day against the San Diego Chargers.
Elite players with subpar matchups
Peterson and Gurley are both in play and nobody else is really someone to write off for Sunday.
