Fantasy football start/sit, Week 12: Buck Allen could have some competition
The Ravens are going to have a new starting running back on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.
That means Buck Allen is the next man up. The Ravens are going up against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday. While the Browns are one of the worst defenses for rushing yards allowed and were dead last in 2014, they're just 21st in fantasy points allowed to backs. That's still a very favorable matchup for Allen.
The tricky part here is that the Ravens are expected to play Terrance West in his first game with the team. West obviously hasn't learned the offense, so Allen should be in line for 20 touches or more because quarterback Matt Schaub will be under center, too.
Fantasy impact: Things may change next week, but Allen should be viewed as a high-end RB2 this week.
