Pittsburgh Steelers running back DeAngelo Williams is coming off a letdown against the Cleveland Browns last week. Williams only had 54 rushing yards against one of the worst rushing defenses in the league, so he probably burned several fantasy owners. He'll get a very tough matchup this week against the Seattle Seahawks on the road.
Fantasy football start/sit, Week 12: DeAngelo Williams travels to Seattle
DeAngelo Williams wasn’t supposed to do much this week, but he could be a stud on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.
If one thing is clear, it’s that Williams is going to get a lot of touches. He’s logging over 20 touches per game as a starter and he’s involved in the passing game as well.
The Seahawks seem to have figured out the running side of things. They have allowed just three touchdowns to running backs all season, and one of those games was a two-TD outing to Carolina Panthers running back Jonathan Stewart. Interestingly, they have been worse at home this season, so that part of the equation shouldn't really be factored in here.
Fantasy impact: Williams should still be starting in almost all leagues as a high-end RB2.
