St. Louis Rams quarterback Case Keenum (concussion) is listed as questionable for the team's Week 12 matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals. Keenum was a limited participant in practice throughout the week but is yet to clear the NFL's concussion protocol. After his concussion was grossly mishandled last week, he was never a realistic shot to suit up this week. Nick Foles will get the start.
Case Keenum injury update: QB questionable for Rams, fantasy owners
The St. Louis Rams quarterback is listed as questionable for Week 12. We break down the fantasy implications.
Fantasy impact: Foles was originally benched in favor of Keenum in Week 11 due to ineffectiveness. In his first season with the Rams, he has completed a troubling 56.6 percent of his passes for 186.4 yards per game and owns a 7:6 touchdown:interception ratio. Foles has failed to toss a touchdown in four games this year and only more than one touchdown once in Week 4. Even owners in two-quarterback leagues desperate for a QB2 upgrade should be able to do better than Foles on the waiver wire. He’s a bottom-five fantasy QB play whose hard to justify a roster spot for.
