Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins (shoulder) is inactive for the team's Week 12 matchup against the Indianapolis Colts. As had been the case for multiple weeks now, Seferian-Jenkins has participated in practice every day this week on a limited basis but is yet to gain clearance for contact. Despite seeming close, there is no timetable for his return.
Austin Seferian-Jenkins injury update: TE inactive for Buccaneers, fantasy owners
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end is inactive for Week 12. We break down the fantasy implications.
Fantasy impact: The Buccaneers will go with a combination of Brandon Meyers and Luke Stocker to replace him. With the return of wide receiver Vincent Jackson, neither tight end will see significant targets. Myers had dropped five goose eggs, hasn't topped 35 yards receiving this seasons and has failed to catch a touchdown. All of Stocker's total production throughout the season (3/22) came in Week 7. It goes without saying that neither player is even worthy of roster consideration let alone a starting spot. Jackson and Mike Evans are the primary beneficiaries of ASJ's absence and both good bets to produce against Indianapolis' defense that allows the seventh-most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers.
