Denver Broncos wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders (ankle, finger) is listed as probable for the team's Week 12 matchup against the New England Patriots. Sanders was a limited participant in practice Wednesday and Thursday before being upgraded to a full participant on Friday. He's fully expected to suit up on Sunday.
Emmanuel Sanders injury update: WR probable for Broncos, fantasy owners
The Denver Broncos’ wide receiver is listed as probable for Week 12. We break down the fantasy implications.
Fantasy impact: With the situation at quarterback, the unproven Brock Osweiler is a bigger obstacle to Sanders' path to production than his injuries. The third-year signal caller showed some promise last week against the Chicago Bears. He finished the day completing 20 of 27 passes (74.1 completion percentage) for 250 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions. While that was only one full game against a mediocre opponent, it was encouraging to see him exceeding expectations. The Broncos are likely to continue to lean heavily on the run game and avoid overloading Osweiler, which could limit Sanders' targets. When one takes into account the injuries and the fact that Sanders has never caught a pass from Osweiler in a live game, Sanders should be viewed as a borderline WR2/3 until we see how the chemistry develops between the two.
