Oakland Raiders receiver Michael Crabtree has apparently realized his potential. He was expected to be an elite receiver back when he was selected 10th in the first round of the 2009 NFL Draft -- if he didn't have injury concerns, he probably would've gone top five.
Fantasy football start/sit, Week 12: Michael Crabtree looks to bounce back
Michael Crabtree wasn’t very good last week. We break down the fantasy implications.
Well, in his first year with the Raiders, he's rolling. Crabtree is WR16 in PPR leagues and has actually passed teammate Amari Cooper. The Raiders were shut down pretty bad last week against the Detroit Lions, which was expected to be a favorable matchup.
This week, they get a tougher game against the Tennessee Titans, who are the 12th toughest matchup for fantasy receivers. They also have held receivers without a score in each of their last two games.
Fantasy impact: Crabtree probably isn’t the strongest WR2 play, but he’s still someone most fantasy owners should be looking to use this week. He also has a nice upside.
