Jacksonville Jaguars receiver Allen Hurns has been one of the best pickups in fantasy football this season. He's the No. 14 WR in standard leagues and has been a touchdown machine. He just had his streak of seven consecutive games of scoring snapped last week, but he'll look to get it going again this week.
Fantasy football start/sit, Week 12: Allen Hurns gets added rest
The Jaguars had a couple days off due to a Thursday night game in Week 11. We break down the fantasy implications.
He gets an interesting matchup against the San Diego Chargers. The Chargers are actually ranked as the fifth-toughest matchup for fantasy receivers. They have put a stranglehold on WR1s in offenses, but WR2s have fared a little better. That means Allen Robinson may struggle a little more.
Hurns is dealing with a few minor injuries, but he’s still fully expected to play most of his snaps and should see double-digit targets.
Fantasy impact: Hurns is a solid WR2 this week, despite the sub-par matchup on paper. Most fantasy owners should have him locked in for PPR and standard leagues.
