The San Diego Chargers were one of the most potent passing attacks earlier this season. However, they lost receiver Keenan Allen for the year and things haven't been the same since Week 8.
Fantasy football start/sit, Week 12: Stevie Johnson should get lots of targets
The Chargers are missing a lot of bodies at receiver. We break down the fantasy implications.
They also lost Malcom Floyd for three weeks, but Floyd is back this week. While that might be a negative for some receivers, it is probably going to help out Stevie Johnson because Floyd wouldn't threaten Johnson's targets in the slot. In his last two games, Johnson caught seven passes in each, but he didn't score and he only totaled 122 yards.
This week, Johnson gets a good matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars on the road. The Jags have been pretty god solid, but they've been vulnerable at times and have given up big lines to slot receivers.
Fantasy Impact: Expect the Chargers to get back on track this week and Johnson to flirt with 100 yards and 10 catches. He is a solid WR2 in PPR this week and is a WR3 in standard leagues.
