If you’re in the daily fantasy sports (DFS) game, you need as many tools as possible to help set your lineup. Sure, there are some things you’ll disagree with, but not acknowledging stats or information is usually a mistake. FanDuel has acquired NumberFire to help on some projections for NFL players for each week to give you another tool to help.
FanDuel Daily Fantasy projections, Week 9: Running backs
The usual suspects are at the top two this week except for Le’Veon Bell, who is out for the season. Who else should fantasy owners look to for value?

Here are the fantasy projections for Week 9:
Top tier
The San Francisco 49ers are going to be a mess on offense, so we should see Devonta Freeman of the Atlanta Falcons go off. He is a nice buy at $8,900 -- the second-highest price. The most expensive? That is Todd Gurley, who has been the highest scoring back since he was unleashed back in Week 3. His matchup isn't great, but he should still be money in the bank in cash games. Chris Ivory of the New York Jets could have a big day, but he needs to avoid an in-game injury, which is happening all too often.
Bargains
Lamar Miller of the Miami Dolphins at just $6,900 is a nice option and he'll likely be highly owned with his value rising under the new coaching staff. Perhaps the best bargain is DeAngelo Williams, who is now the top back for the Pittsburgh Steelers. He fared well in the first two games and should be a nice cash or tournament option. If you want to go really cheap, you could go with Kendall Gaskins of the 49ers or Jeremy Langford of the Chicago Bears. Both will have increased roles due to injuries.
Elite players with sub-par matchups
This isn't the week you want to use Adrian Peterson. Latavius Murray of the Oakland Raiders isn't a good play and neither is Eddie Lacy of the Green Bay Packers.
