If you’re in the daily fantasy sports (DFS) game, you need as many tools as possible to help set your lineup. Sure, there are some things you’ll disagree with, but not acknowledging stats or information is usually a mistake. FanDuel has acquired NumberFire to help on some projections for NFL players for each week to give you another tool to help.
FanDuel daily fantasy projections, Week 9: Wide receivers
Antonio Brown didn’t have a healthy quarterback or a good matchup for over a month. He gets both this week. Should fantasy owners use him and/or someone else?

Here are the fantasy projections for Week 9:
Top tier
Antonio Brown gets Ben Roethlisberger for the second week in a row and he doesn’t have to face a tough Cincinnati Bengals defense. He should go off against the Oakland Raiders and he’s not too pricey at $8,700, making him a strong play in any format. The New York Giants had six touchdown passes last week, so Odell Beckham Jr. will be a popular play. Obviously Julio Jones is due for a big game again and is the highest-priced receiver.
Bargains
There were a lot of injuries, so that means there are a lot of values. Stevie Johnson at just $5,400 is a strong play and Malcom Floyd isn’t bad either at $6,100 with Keenan Allen done for the year. Kamar Aiken should be a sneaky cheap play with Steve Smith out. Also, Brandon LaFell is getting healthy and should be busy against a vulnerable secondary.
Elite players with sub-par matchups
Demaryius Thomas is no longer on a passing team with the Denver Broncos winning with defense and running the ball. Dez Bryant is also a risky guy to use because his quarterback is not good at all.
