Ronnie Hillman injury update: Set to start, has nice fantasy value
Ronnie Hillman looks good to go. We break down the fantasy implications.
Denver Broncos running back Ronnie Hillman is expected to start on Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts. He is listed as questionable due to a thigh injury and was limited in practice this week.
Hillman injured his thigh in practice and the exact diagnosis isn’t known. Hopefully it’s more of a bruise and not a quad strain, but there is still mostly positive news about him playing.
He will likely split the carries with C.J. Anderson in what is a favorable matchup in a high-scoring game. Hillman is also getting the goal-line work right now, so he clearly has the higher upside. Anderson did have his best game last week with 14 carries for 101 yards.
Fantasy impact: With Anderson finally getting it going last week, this is a tough nut to crack for fantasy owners. For now, Hillman is an RB2 with Hillman as a flex in both PPR and standard formats.
