T.Y. Hilton injury update: Fantasy value likely hinging on a game-time decision
T.Y. Hilton is likely going to be a game-time call. We break down the fantasy implications.
Indianapolis Colts wide receiver T.Y. Hilton (foot) is questionable to play against the Denver Broncos on Sunday. He did not practice this week outside of just doing some running on the side on Friday. Hilton was in a walking boot earlier this week and is likely going to be a game-time decision for the 4:25 EST start.
There are only two games starting after the Colts kickoff time, so Hilton fantasy owners are in a pickle. There should be an update Sunday morning, but there probably won’t be anything definitive.
Fantasy impact: If he is out, we should see more of Donte Moncrief and he would be a nice fantasy play. Andre Johnson would also get a big chance to perform. However, the Broncos defense is no joke, so fantasy owners should temper expectations. If you're going to start Hilton, you probably will want to have a player with the same or later start time to back him up. Still, his matchup isn't good, so he's not a strong play with the risk of an aggravation.
