Rueben Randle injury update: WR questionable for Giants, fantasy owners
The New York Giants wide receiver is listed as questionable for Week 9. We break down the fantasy implications.
New York Giants wide receiver Rueben Randle (hamstring) is listed as questionable for the team's Week 9 matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Randle did not participate in practice on Wednesday before being upgraded to a limited participant on Thursday and Friday. Despite the questionable tag, Randle is expected to play, barring a setback.
Fantasy impact: Randle has been a more miss than hit fantasy option this season and throughout his career. Randle’s best game came in Week 3 against Washington where he finished with seven receptions for 116 yards and one touchdown. In his other seven games played, he only found the end zone once and hasn’t topped 70 yards receiving. He hasn’t been much of a PPR asset either, averaging just under four receptions per game. The Buccaneers allow the fifth most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers but Randle playing at less than full health doesn’t inspire much hope. He’s a WR4.
