New York Jets receiver Brandon Marshall (toe, ankle) is active for the team's match up against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. Marshall was expected to play despite being less than 100 percent. Quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick is active and will start for the Jets.
Brandon Marshall injury update: Jets WR is active for fantasy owners
Brandon Marshall is active. We break down the fantasy implications.
Receiver Eric Decker is also set to go. The Jets should have a lot of success against the Jaguars, who have allowed the eighth-most passing yards on the season, and they also have undersized corners, too.
Fantasy impact: Even with Marshall banged up, fantasy owners have seen him deliver strong numbers even when playing through an injury. He’ll also have Fitzpatrick targeting him often in a plus match up. The match up is too good to ignore. Marshall should be viewed as a very solid WR2 this week. He’s been great all season and there hasn’t been much negative talk about him since his injuries in Week 8.
