Washington wide receiver DeSean Jackson is finally returning to the field after missing nearly the entire season so far because of a hamstring injury. Jackson went down in Week 1 before recording a single reception. He was poised to return in October before experiencing a setback during practice. Jackson and the team are coming off a bye week, which likely allowed Jackson a more comfortable window to fully recover. Washington will need Jackson against the high-octane New England Patriots offense on Sunday.
DeSean Jackson injury update: Washington WR is active for fantasy owners
DeSean Jackson is finally back. We take a look at the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: Fantasy owners have waited eight weeks for Jackson's return. At this point, it's likely that Jackson owners have found some sort of solution for his absence. Now, Jackson returns with a favorable match up against a Patriots defense that is among the top ten in fantasy points allowed to wide receivers. Washington will need to throw the ball early and often if they hope to keep up with the Patriots. Wide receiver Pierre Garcon and tight end Jordan Reed will be competing for targets of course. In his first week back, Jackson should be treated as a WR3 with plenty of upside.
