Denver Broncos running back Ronnie Hillman (thigh) will be active for the team's game against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday. Hillman's injury occurred in Week 8 against the Green Bay Packers. Hillman returned to the game but was limited in practice heading into Week 9. The expectation was that Hillman would play leading up to Sunday. Hillman is labeled as the starter for Week 9, but coach Gary Kubiak told the media that he considers both Hillman and C.J. Anderson lead backs.
Ronnie Hillman injury update: Broncos RB is active, fantasy owners can plug into lineup
Ronnie Hillman is good to go. We take a look at the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: Anderson may have out-gained Hillman by 51 yards in Week 8, but Hillman came away with two touchdowns. Anderson has seen plenty of opportunity all season and fallen short, which is likely the reason Hillman’s name is atop the team’s depth chart. Still, there should be plenty of work in store for both running backs. Hillman should be considered an RB2, and Anderson is a FLEX option for fantasy owners.
