On Sunday, Buffalo Bills running back Karlos Williams returned to the field for the first time since Week 4. Williams was involved as the team's change-of-pace back until running back LeSean McCoy exited the game with a shoulder injury. Williams finished the game with nine carries for 110 yards and two touchdowns. Both he and McCoy contributed heavily to the team's 33-17 win over the Miami Dolphins. McCoy had 16 carries for 112 yards and a touchdown along with two receptions for seven yards. McCoy briefly exited the game in the first quarter with a shoulder injury but returned. In the second half, McCoy injured his shoulder again and was held on the sideline. If McCoy can't suit up for Thursday's game against the New York Jets, Williams should excel with a big workload.
Karlos Williams finds end zone twice, becomes a top waiver grab once again
Karlos Williams is back. We take a look at the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: Fantasy owners have wondered if Williams and McCoy can coexist. Even when both running backs were starting early in the season, McCoy was admittedly never 100 percent due to a hamstring injury. Beyond that, each running back has filled in for the other when unable to take the field. Even though McCoy was banged up on Sunday, fantasy owners were given a glimpse of the potential either running back has when both are taking snaps with healthy legs.
For now, it appears as though each running back complements the other. McCoy remains an RB2 in all formats. Williams appears to be in the same RB2 conversation. He’ll be closer to an RB1 if McCoy can’t suit up on Thursday. If you’re in one of the 64 percent of leagues (Yahoo!) where Williams is available, he should be picked up.
