Tennessee Titans running back Antonio Andrews' role in the team's backfield is becoming more clear under interim coach Mike Mularkey.
Antonio Andrews leads Titans backfield, waiver wire window is closing
Antonio Andrews may be the workhorse RB in Tennessee. We take a look at the fantasy implications.

In Week 9, Andrews was the team’s lead back. He carried the ball 19 times for 88 yards. He also caught one pass for 23 yards. Andrews played in 63 percent of the team’s offensive snaps.
By comparison, running back Dexter McCluster saw 41 percent of the team's snap count. Andrews seems to be playing with a more defined role after coach Ken Whisenhunt was fired.
Whisenhunt rarely committed to any running back each week. Andrews doesn’t appear to have a high ceiling in terms of overall talent, but he’s reliable. Through six games and 73 carries, Andrews hasn’t fumbled and is averaging 4 yards per carry.
Fantasy impact: Much like he is on the field, Andrews isn’t a particularly exciting fantasy asset, but he’s getting enough of a workload to warrant ownership in most leagues. He’s available in nearly half of Yahoo! leagues as of Monday.
Assuming Mularkey continues to lean on Andrews for most of the team’s rushing production, Andrews is a low-end RB2 down the stretch. Anyone in need of running backs should be grabbing Andrews off of the waiver wire for Week 10.
